Key Responsibilities

• Lead the road freight operations across Southeast Asia, aligning local and regional business goals with market trends and national needs.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and ensure profitability. Take full ownership of departmental P&L and budget performance, including financial planning and cost management.
• Oversee day-to-day road freight operations to ensure high levels of service, productivity, and legal compliance. Drive continuous improvement in processes and customer satisfaction.
• Support and steer commercial initiatives, customer development, and profit-sharing strategies to strengthen market presence and increase revenue.
• Lead, coach, and inspire cross-country teams, translating strategic objectives into measurable goals. Maintain strong internal communication and stakeholder management.
• Ensure adherence to legal regulations, health and safety standards, and internal company policies. Collaborate with legal teams to minimise exposure to risk during critical business decisions.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business-related field.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in logistics or freight forwarding, including at least 7 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of multi-modal logistics and road freight operations within Southeast Asia.
• Proven track record of managing profit and loss responsibilities and achieving financial targets.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural leadership skills.
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
• Customer-oriented with a strong commercial acumen and ability to drive business solutions.
• Proficiency in business systems (e.g., export documentation, invoicing tools).
• Willingness to travel regionally.
