Seeking a passionate and strategically minded Head of Retail Training & Leadership Development to lead the design, development, and execution of store-level training programs across the Asia Pacific region. This role will build a comprehensive training ecosystem covering partner onboarding, operational excellence, service delivery, and leadership development to drive business growth and enhance the brand experience. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in retail or F&B training and is excited to create scalable, brand-aligned programs.

Seeking a passionate and strategically minded Head of Retail Training & Leadership Development to lead the design, development, and execution of store-level training programs across the Asia Pacific region. This role will build a comprehensive training ecosystem covering partner onboarding, operational excellence, service delivery, and leadership development to drive business growth and enhance the brand experience. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in retail or F&B training and is excited to create scalable, brand-aligned programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Training System Development

1.Lead end-to-end development of training strategies, content, and programs for frontline staff, store leaders, and new market launches.

2.Build a training framework covering onboarding, skills development, SOP reinforcement, customer service, and leadership readiness.

3.Oversee creation of training materials (manuals, videos, LMS modules, in-store guides, certification programs).

4.Collaborate with Operations, HR, Marketing, and other teams to align training with brand standards and business priorities.

Leadership Development & Talent Management

1.Design and implement enterprise-wide OD strategies to support organizational growth, cultural integration, and transformation.

2.Lead leadership development programs, including competency assessments, 360 feedback, coaching, and succession planning.

3.Develop scalable talent frameworks for high-potential programs, career pathing, and performance enhancement.

Training Execution & Optimization

1.Define and track training KPIs (completion rates, readiness, learning impact, operational performance).

2.Lead Train-the-Trainer programs and manage regional training teams for consistent delivery.

3.Continuously refine training through assessments, store feedback, and support pre-opening training for new stores.

Cross-Regional Collaboration & Resource Management

1.Partner with global OD/TD teams to localize group-wide programs and share best practices.

2.Manage internal/external training resources and digital tools (LMS, microlearning platforms) to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

·Experience: 8-10 years in retail, QSR, or F&B training, with at least 3 years in leadership roles managing multi-regional programs; OD/TD experience is a plus.

·Competencies:

·Proven expertise in retail training design, curriculum development, and large-scale rollouts; familiarity with adult learning principles and digital tools.

·Strong knowledge of leadership assessment, change management, and organization design; ability to align talent strategies with business goals.

·Excellent communication, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills; data-driven mindset with ROI analysis experience.

·Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR, Organizational Development, or related fields; master’s degree or certifications (CPTD, ATD, CPLP, Prosci) are preferred.

·Industry Fit: Retail, hospitality, or F&B industry experience is highly preferred; understanding of APAC market dynamics.

·Fluent in both Chinese and English.
