We are seeking a high-caliber professional to join us as a Head of Product Risk SEA.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Manage all areas of GTS Product Risk in the Southeast Asia region, including GTS Non-Financial Risk, Transaction Risk Management, and Quality Assurance, with key responsibilities for Singapore and oversight for the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all first-line risk management matters in GTS Singapore, addressing financial and non-financial risks such as credit risk, financial crime, regulatory compliance, legal, resilience, people, model, and tax risks.
  • Require a strong risk management background to identify, manage, and escalate risk issues effectively, ensuring compliance with Global FIM and GOPs in a regulated environment.
  • Embed a risk-aware culture by guiding in-country teams to implement global policies, escalate risks and gaps, and develop plans to mitigate these issues.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments within GTS and the wider CIB to deliver risk mitigation strategies, maximize portfolio returns, and oversee GTS facilities, TRM, and Controls Office.
  • Align portfolio risk appetite with business risk appetite through monitoring, reporting, and addressing key risks and concerns.
  • Contribute to new initiatives, propositions, and business planning in collaboration with regional teams.
  • Lead the Operational Risk Programme in Singapore, oversee key risks in the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, and participate in the Regional GTS Product Risk leadership team to develop the function and achieve strategic goals.
