Job summary

RIKVIN PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Head of Operations to lead the end-to-end execution of physical and documentary trade flows.

You will own contract confirmation, vessel movement, customs clearance, delivery and settlement, with direct accountability for risk, cost and counterparty experience, focusing on North Asia. You will manage trade execution, logistics, and compliance, steer CTRM/ERP systems adoption, and build a high-performance operations team across regional hubs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years in physical commodity trading operations, including leadership experience
• Strong understanding of North Asia trade lanes, PRC licensing and port/terminal practice
• Proficient in Incoterms, charter terms, LC mechanics, and trade docs
• Experience resolving demurrage, claims, and counterparty disputes
• Fluent Mandarin required for daily negotiations with China counterparties

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of physical cargo movements: contract review, nomination, documentation, inspection, delivery, settlement
• Direct chartering, freight negotiation, vessel/barge scheduling, and terminal/storage arrangements
• Lead delivery into/out of North Asia with focus on China, navigating licensing and regulatory regimes
• Enforce risk controls, sanctions screening, KYC, and trade compliance across all movements
• Lead, structure, and develop the operations team; drive CTRM/ERP adoption and report performance to CEO
