Backed by thecountrys leading corporates, IIS brings together state-of-the-art facilities, world-classcoaching, and cutting-edge sports science to deliver a holistic athlete developmentprogram.IIS is now entering an exciting new phase, implementing world-class performance anddata analysis systems to enhance athlete development and competitive performance.In collaboration with CO-Analysis, we are seeking an experienced and visionary Head ofAnalysis to lead our analysis department and drive a performance analysis strategyacross multiple sports.Job Information:Job Title: Head of AnalysisReporting to: Performance DirectorRole Purpose: The Head of Analysis will oversee the entire IIS analysis department,managing performance and data analysts to deliver a cohesive performance analysisstrategy. The successful candidate will collaborate with coaches, sports scientists, andmultidisciplinary teams to provide actionable insights and support evidence-baseddecision-making across all sports.Location: Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS), India. With occasional travel.Type of Contract: PermanentKey Accountabilities:Department Leadership: Manage and lead the performance and data analysis teams,fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Performance Analysis Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive performanceanalysis strategy across all sports, aligning with IIS and CO-analysis goals andobjectives.Insight and Reporting: Oversee the creation of detailed performance reports, videoreviews, and data visualisations to provide actionable insights to coaches and athletes.Technology and Innovation: Lead the implementation and management of performanceanalysis tools, Athlete Management Systems (AMS), and data visualisation platforms(e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Collaboration: Work closely with coaches, sports scientists, strength and conditioningstaff, and physiotherapists to integrate performance insights into athlete developmentprograms.Training and Development: Mentor and support analysts, providing guidance on bestpractices, tools, and technologies in performance analysis.Continuous Improvement: Research and implement new technologies, methods, andanalytical approaches to stay at the forefront of sports performance analysis.Person Specification:Essential Criteria:Qualifications: A master's degree in sports science, performance analysis, data analytics, or a related field.Knowledge & Experience:Proven experience leading an analysis team within a high-performance sports environment.Strong understanding of performance analysis techniques, data analytics, and sportsscience metrics.Experience with Performance Analysis (e.g. Dartfish), Athlete Management Systems(AMS) and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Experience collaborating with coaches and multidisciplinary teams to deliverperformance insights.Behaviours:Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Collaborative approach, working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.Passion for sports and athlete development.Innovative mindset with a passion for applying new technologies and methods.Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and meet deadlines.Self-motivated and committed to continuous learning and development.Desirable Criteria:Qualifications:Additional certifications/accreditations in sports science, sports performance/dataanalytics or video analysis.Knowledge & Experience:Experience using coding languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis.Experience working with and achieving medal success with Olympic or professionalathletes.Familiarity with biomechanics and its application in sports performance analysis.How to Apply:To apply for this exciting opportunity, please send your CV and a covering letter outliningyour suitability for the role to hidden_email with the subject line: Head of Analysis IIS India.,
