Role Overview

A leading global digital assets platform is seeking a seasoned professional to head its OTC trading business in Singapore. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the desk’s growth, strategy, and client coverage, responsible for shaping how the OTC business scales across Asia and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Leadership – Own the P&L of the Singapore OTC desk, define strategy, and execute growth plans aligned with global objectives.
• Team Management – Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing OTC trading and sales team.
• Regulatory & Compliance – Ensure strict adherence to MAS regulations and internal compliance standards; serve as the key contact point for regulators and auditors.
• Client Coverage – Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, market makers, and liquidity providers to drive market share.
• Trading Oversight – Supervise daily trading operations, including pricing, risk management, and settlements.
• Collaboration – Partner closely with global OTC, Exchange, Risk, Product, and Compliance teams to deliver seamless cross-border solutions.
• Market Insights – Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes; provide strategic input to senior management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in OTC trading (crypto or FX), with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of trading operations, risk management, and regulatory frameworks (MAS VASP/PSA experience preferred).
• Proven record of building and managing teams, scaling business operations, and achieving revenue targets.
• Strong network in institutional crypto or traditional financial markets.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Based in Singapore, with the ability to represent the firm to partners and regulators.
