Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy aligned with the mission of bridging climate-resilient agricultural practices and preventative healthcare through food.
Drive the long-term vision and establish a clear roadmap for achieving sustainable growth and market leadership.
Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that all departments work cohesively to meet business objectives.
Drive operational excellence by optimizing production processes, maintaining product quality, and achieving financial goals.
Innovation & Product Development:
Champion innovation in millet-based nutrition, fortification techniques, and sustainable food processing technologies.
Lead efforts in food sciences to develop and launch innovative products that set new benchmarks in the industry.
Partnerships & Market Expansion:
Build strategic partnerships with regenerative farming cooperatives, healthcare institutions, and key industry stakeholders.
Identify and penetrate new markets to expand our footprint in both domestic and international markets.
Financial Management:
Establish financial goals and ensure sound financial planning and risk management to maintain healthy cash flows and profitability.
Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising on quality or sustainability.
Team Leadership & Culture Building:
Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning across all levels of the organization.
Mentor and develop the leadership team, fostering an environment that encourages innovative thinking and agility.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Maintain transparent communication with the board, investors, and stakeholders regarding the company’s performance and strategic priorities.
Act as a spokesperson and advocate for the company’s mission at industry events, conferences, and public forums.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the F&B or AgriTech industry.
Experience in startups or scaling businesses is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of sustainable agriculture practices, food fortification, and preventative healthcare principles.
Deep experience in food innovation, with a track record of driving breakthroughs in product development and food sciences.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional financial acumen and experience in P&L management.
