A leading Southeast Asian superapp is seeking a Head of Engineering to manage and lead the Mobile and Backend Frameworks teams. This senior leadership position requires significant software engineering experience, technical leadership in developer infrastructure, and a focus on driving change and productivity in large systems. The successful candidate will oversee a team of about 30-40 engineers and align technical foundations with emerging AI-assisted development trends, while ensuring productivity gains in established codebases.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of experience as a software engineer with leadership roles.
• Experience in large engineering organizations with complex systems.
• Hands-on with backend platforms or native mobile development.

Responsibilities

• Own technical vision and roadmap for mobile and backend frameworks.
• Drive adoption of major platform changes.
• Manage a team of ~30-40 engineers.
