Finmo, a Singapore-based fintech, seeks a Head of Marketing to shape the company’s global strategy, strengthen the brand, and drive demand across markets. You will lead the marketing function and collaborate with Commercial, Product and cross‑functional teams to translate priorities into go‑to‑market programmes.

This hands‑on leadership role requires data‑driven decision making, clear KPIs, and the ability to scale marketing as the business expands internationally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership roles.
  • Proven experience developing and executing B2B marketing and go-to-market strategies in tech/fintech environments.
  • Strong background in demand generation, growth marketing, product marketing, brand and content messaging.
  • Experience building and managing marketing teams, budgets, agencies and external partners.

Responsibilities

About the role

As Head of Marketing, you will own and drive the Company’s global marketing strategy and execution, with responsibility for strengthening our brand, generating demand, supporting revenue growth, and enabling our expansion across key markets.

You will lead the marketing function and work closely with Commercial, Product and other cross‑functional teams to translate business priorities into effective go‑to‑market strategies and marketing programmes.

This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring a strong balance of strategic thinking and execution. You will be expected to use data and customer insights to make decisions, establish clear measures of success, and continuously improve marketing effectiveness.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and execute the global marketing strategy aligned with the Company’s business objectives, growth priorities and go‑to‑market plans
  • Translate business and commercial priorities into clear marketing plans, campaigns and initiatives
  • Own the marketing roadmap, budget and resource allocation across markets and channels
  • Establish clear marketing KPIs and ensure marketing activities deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Provide leadership with insights on market trends, customer behaviour, competitive developments and marketing performance

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, develop and mentor a high‑performing marketing team across relevant marketing disciplines
  • Define clear priorities, responsibilities and performance expectations across the marketing function
  • Build the capabilities, processes and operating rhythms required to support the Company’s growth
  • Manage external agencies, vendors and partners where appropriate
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, experimentation and data‑driven decision‑making

Demand Generation & Growth Marketing

  • Own the demand generation strategy across digital, content, events, partnerships, paid media and other relevant channels
  • Develop scalable programmes that generate qualified leads, strengthen pipeline and contribute to revenue growth
  • Partner closely with Commercial teams to align marketing activities with target segments, markets and revenue priorities
  • Develop customer segmentation and account‑based approaches where appropriate
  • Continuously test and optimise channels, campaigns and customer journeys based on performance data

Product Marketing & Go‑to‑Market

  • Partner with Product and Commercial teams to develop clear value propositions, positioning and messaging for the Company’s products and solutions
  • Lead the marketing strategy for product launches and market‑entry initiatives
  • Develop sales enablement materials that clearly communicate customer value and competitive differentiation
  • Conduct customer, market and competitor research to inform product positioning and go‑to‑market decisions
  • Ensure messaging remains relevant and consistent across markets, products and customer segments

Brand, Content & Thought Leadership

  • Own and strengthen the Company’s brand positioning, identity, voice and messaging across markets
  • Develop the Company’s content and thought leadership strategy to build credibility within the fintech and financial services ecosystem
  • Oversee public relations, social media, communications and relevant industry engagement
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the visibility of the Company and its leadership through industry events, partnerships, media and thought leadership
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all external marketing communications and brand touchpoints

Marketing Analytics & Performance

  • Establish appropriate measurement, attribution and reporting frameworks across marketing activities
  • Monitor marketing funnel performance and evaluate the effectiveness and return of marketing investments
  • Use data, experimentation and customer insights to continuously improve marketing performanceProvide regular reporting and actionable insights to leadership and relevant stakeholders
  • Make informed recommendations on channel investment, resource allocation and marketing priorities
Eligibility & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Typically 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including significant experience leading a marketing function or team
  • Proven experience developing and executing B2B marketing and go‑to‑market strategies in a high‑growth, technology, fintech, payments, financial services or similarly complex environment
  • Strong track record across demand generation, growth marketing, product marketing, brand and content
  • Demonstrated ability to connect marketing activity to commercial outcomes, including pipeline generation, customer acquisition and revenue growth
  • Experience building and managing marketing teams, budgets, agencies and external partners
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, marketing automation, CRM, analytics and performance measurement
  • Experience partnering closely with Commercial and Product teams on go‑to‑market strategy and execution
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate data and market insights into clear priorities and actions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear positioning and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, international environment with multiple markets, customer segments and competing priorities
  • Willingness to remain hands‑on and execute directly where required, particularly as the marketing function continues to scale
Preferred Experience
  • Experience within fintech, payments, treasury, banking infrastructure or B2B financial technology
  • Experience marketing complex financial or technology products to enterprise or mid‑market customers
  • Experience supporting international expansion and developing go‑to‑market strategies across multiple markets
  • Familiarity with account‑based marketing and enterprise B2B sales cycles
  • Experience working in a regulated industry and understanding the importance of appropriate review and governance of external communications
