This role bridges technology with business needs, coordinating with developers, manufacturers, and customers to tailor solutions that boost performance and user experience. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with product vision, driving innovation in connected vehicle tech, AI integration, and IoT ecosystems.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of experience in software development, system architecture, IoT, or product development.
• Strong hands-on technical expertise in source code review, system integration, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, Solution Architect, or similar role for IoT, connected vehicle, telematics, or complex hardware-software products.
• Strong experience in API design, system interfaces, data architecture, CAN/vehicle data integration, and third-party system integration.
• Knowledge of AI, cloud environments, APIs, and data flows.
• Strong leadership, project management, and vendor management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute SingAuto’s technology roadmap, focusing on IoT, AI, and connected vehicle solutions.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance product capabilities and customer experience.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and feasibility studies for new innovations.
• Architect, develop, and integrate IoT systems across SingAuto’s EV cold-chain platform.
• Oversee end-to-end IoT solutions including devices, sensors, gateways, connectivity, cloud platforms, APIs, and applications.
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of IoT solutions tailored to fleet and cold-chain logistics.
• Own the end-to-end product roadmap for SingAuto’s connected vehicle and IoT platform, from vehicle-side hardware to cloud applications.
• Define product requirements, use cases, user journeys, and acceptance criteria based on customer and operational needs.
• Define and manage system interfaces across sensors, controllers, TCUs, vehicle CAN networks, cloud platforms, APIs, and third-party systems.
• Develop and maintain API specifications, data dictionaries, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and system integration requirements.
• Coordinate hardware, software, vehicle engineering, and external vendors to ensure seamless end-to-end product integration.
• Translate fleet, cold-chain, and customer requirements into scalable digital products and platform capabilities.
• Prioritise product features and manage the product lifecycle from concept, development, and testing through deployment and continuous improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement of AI features in SingAuto’s vehicles, focusing on predictive analytics, automation, and smart mobility.
• Collaborate with developers to refine algorithms and integrate AI into product features.
• Translate customer and manufacturer feedback into AI-driven enhancements.
• Assess external technologies, platforms, and systems for potential acquisition or integration.
• Conduct technical due diligence covering architecture, source code quality, scalability, and security.
• Manage technical handovers and ensure seamless integration into SingAuto’s ecosystem.
• Lead source code review, handover, and secondary development from external vendors.
• Participate hands-on in system customisation, debugging, integration, and optimisation.
• Establish best practices for source code management, version control, testing, and deployment.
• Liaise with developers, manufacturers, and customers to tailor solutions to operational needs.

Position Overview
SingAuto is seeking a dynamic Head of IT & Innovation to lead the development and continuous improvement of our IoT-enabled vehicle systems and AI-driven functions.
This role will be pivotal in bridging technology with business needs, liaising closely with developers, manufacturers, and customers to tailor solutions that enhance product performance, reliability, and user experience.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical depth with product vision, driving innovation in connected vehicle technology, AI integration, and IoT ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
1. Technology Strategy & Innovation
Develop and execute SingAuto’s technology roadmap, focusing on IoT, AI, and connected vehicle solutions.
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance product capabilities and customer experience.
Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and feasibility studies for new innovations.
2. IoT & Connected Vehicle Development
Architect, develop, and integrate IoT systems across SingAuto’s EV cold-chain platform.
Oversee end-to-end IoT solutions including devices, sensors, gateways, connectivity, cloud platforms, APIs, and applications.

Candidate Requirements
Essential
