Job Description:

  • Provide solutions and opportunities by working with the key stakeholders, C-level executives and lead the software engineering team to implement functional and operating model to align with the Company’s vision and KPI.
  • Set the vision of the software engineering team and make strategic decisions on behalf of the company’s technological requirements.
  • Analyse business requirements and work with external partners to drive innovation and new ideas to improve customers' experiences (such as omnichannel retailing etc).
  • Contribute your expertise by providing technical advice in collaboration projects with teams across different business units to generate innovative digital solution strategies for products, services, processes, customer experiences, marketing channels, and business models.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities and changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Respond to production issues and coordinate with stakeholders and external teams for solutions.
  • Manage and grow a development team including interns and FTEs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or its equivalent.
  • 15 years of hands-on and architecture experience leading a team developing enterprise-level micro service applications.
  • Able to see the big picture, and how each project/collaboration across business units fit into the overall scheme of things.
  • Flexibility to adjust dynamically to new demands and set priorities with a highly collaborative style.
  • Possess an inspiring leadership mindset, a resilient character to adapt quickly to changes; and a positive attitude supporting an agile working environment.
  • Good knowledge of programming languages and process management methodology.
