Job description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead investment strategy, portfolio management, and capital formation activities. The CIO will chair the Investment Committee, drive multi-year investment strategies, and oversee deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio performance across Singapore and regional markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead investment strategy, governance, and portfolio construction.
• Source, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and fund structures.
• Oversee asset management, refinancing, and exit strategies to optimize portfolio returns.
• Provide oversight for real estate development projects from acquisition through completion.
• Drive capital formation, fundraising, and investor relations with institutional and accredited investors.
• Ensure compliance with MAS regulations, licensing requirements, and risk frameworks.
• Build and mentor a high-performing investment team while standardizing processes and reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in investment management, private equity, portfolio analysis, or related financial services.
• At least 5 years in public markets with expertise in research and fund structuring.
• Strong track record in real estate, fund investments, and alternatives.
• Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or Engineering; MBA/CFA/CAIA preferred.
• Proven leadership, negotiation, and risk management capabilities.
• Eligible to serve as Registered Officer (RO) for CMS licence application.
