Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a high-energy communications leader to drive integrated internal and external communications across Australia, New Zealand, ASEAN, and related markets. You will partner with regional leaders to craft compelling narratives that align to business growth and technology trends.

You will translate strategy into stories for diverse audiences, manage multi-channel programs, and collaborate with global communications teams to elevate Cognizant’s reputation across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, English, journalism or marketing.
• 15+ years of experience in corporate communications.
• Strong writing and content production skills.
• Experience working with senior business and thought leaders.
• Creative thinker with trends across marketing, advertising, PR, social media, and executive/employee communications.
• Ability to lead, collaborate and influence in a matrixed organization with multiple project teams and timelines.
• Experience managing communications across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated internal and external communications strategy for ASEAN and ANZ.
• Oversee the Leaders’ PR and social media activities across channels.
• Create compelling content across text, digital, video and live events.
• Shape and protect the company’s reputation in Australia through strategic PR programs.
• Identify news and thought leadership angles to pitch to local media.
• Oversee local PR agency and ensure outcomes align to strategy.
