The Head of Information Technology will be responsible for leading the company’s IT strategy, digital transformation, and governance framework, ensuring that technology aligns with business objectives while maintaining regulatory compliance. This is a leadership role that requires a strong strategic mindset, team management skills, and hands-on expertise in financial IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Technology Roadmap

1. Develop and implement IT strategies that align with long-term business goals.
2. Maintain an IT roadmap, evaluating emerging technologies to enhance business competitiveness.

Leadership & Team Management

1. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
2. Oversee section heads to ensure efficient resource allocation and strategic alignment.

IT Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

1. Establish IT frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management.
2. Oversee audits and security assessments, ensuring adherence to IT policies and best practices.

Decision Support & Data Insights

1. Utilize data analytics to drive strategic decision-making and optimize business operations.

Project & IT Service Management

1. Oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
2. Implement IT service management (ITSM) best practices to enhance user satisfaction and operational efficiency.
3. Manage the IT budget, tracking expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
4. Develop IT procurement strategies, ensuring efficient resource allocation while minimizing delays.
5. Drive the development and refinement of IT policies and standards to maintain operational excellence.
6. Ensure that IT initiatives are aligned with business goals and digital transformation strategies.

About You – Key Requirements

1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: At least 10 years in IT management within the financial sector, including 5 years in a leadership role overseeing IT operations, strategy, and security.
2. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and data management.
3. Leadership & People Management: Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and foster collaboration.
4. Analytical & Decision-Making Skills: Ability to leverage data insights to drive strategic initiatives and optimize IT performance.
5. Stakeholder Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels.
6. Certifications (Preferred): ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP, or other relevant industry certifications.
