Job Description
We are seeking a strategic, people-centric, and experienced Head of Human Resources (HR) to lead and elevate our HR function. As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive organizational growth by designing and executing HR strategies aligned with our business goals. You will oversee all aspects of HR operations, from talent acquisition and employee engagement to compliance, performance management, and culture building.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy Development & Implementation:
Lead the creation and execution of a unified regional HR strategy that supports business growth and reflects local market needs.
Compensation & Benefits:
Design and manage competitive, regionally-aligned C&B frameworks that comply with local legislation and market benchmarks.
Payroll Management:
Oversee timely and compliant payroll processing across all operating countries, ensuring alignment with local tax and statutory obligations.
ESOP/ESOS Advisory:
Take charge of our employee share option scheme (ESOP/ESOS) from start to finish - handling grants, tracking vesting schedules, managing exercises, and ensuring smooth expiries.
HR Documentation & Compliance:
Draft and review key documents like offer letters, board resolutions, and scheme rules, making sure everything complies with relevant laws, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
Employee Relations & Labour Law:
Ensure legal compliance with varying labour laws and employment regulations across Southeast Asia. Handle complex ER issues with sensitivity and consistency.
Requirements
Ideally 5-10 years’ experience in a senior HR leadership role, with a proven track record of managing HR functions.
Proven experience in HR management, with a strong understanding of local labour laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
Expertise in managing compensation and benefits, employee relations, and compliance within regional countries.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with senior leadership team and employees.
Expert in setting and executing HR strategy aligned with business goals, demonstrated ability to successfully lead teams and engage with stakeholders in a functionalized HR organization
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
