We are exclusively supporting a confidential search for an established multinational organisation with a strong presence in Singapore and across the region.
The organisation is seeking an experienced Head of HR to lead its people agenda while overseeing five key pillars: HR, Administration, Training & Development, Building & Facilities, and Compliance & Governance.
This is a broad leadership role requiring a strategic yet hands‑on leader who can partner with senior management, strengthen organisational capability, and ensure effective corporate and workplace operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the HR and people strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the full spectrum of HR, including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, C&B, employee relations, talent, succession, and HR operations.
- Partner with senior management and HODs on workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, employee matters, and people-related risks.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, culture, and organisational development.
Training & Development
- Oversee the Training & Development pillar, including training needs analysis, annual training plans, and capability development.
- Drive talent, succession, career, and leadership development initiatives.
- Ensure training programmes support business, capability, and regulatory requirements.
Administration & Corporate Services
- Oversee the Administration pillar, ensuring efficient office and corporate support services.
- Establish effective administrative processes, policies, and service standards.
- Manage relevant vendors, contracts, and service providers to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
Building, Facilities & Maintenance
- Oversee building, facilities, workplace, and maintenance operations to ensure a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment.
- Manage facilities vendors, contractors, maintenance programmes, and related expenditure.
- Ensure building and workplace operations meet regulatory, safety, and business continuity requirements.
Compliance, Governance & Risk
- Oversee the Compliance & Governance pillar, ensuring adherence to applicable Singapore laws, regulations, statutory requirements, and Group policies.
- Establish and maintain appropriate policies, SOPs, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Identify and manage HR, operational, regulatory, and workplace risks.
- Coordinate audits, compliance reviews, and remediation activities.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Monitor HR, training, administration, facilities, and compliance metrics, costs, and risks.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management.
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, Group/regional teams, vendors, consultants, and service providers.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in HR, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of HR experience with broad strategic and operational exposure.
- Proven experience in HR leadership and business partnering with senior management.
- Experience overseeing HR, Administration, Training, Facilities, and/or Compliance will be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR practices.
- Strong experience across employee relations, talent management, performance management, C&B, recruitment, and organisational development.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and problem‑solving skills.
- Commercially minded, pragmatic, and comfortable operating strategically and hands‑on.
- Experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, building services, facilities management, or service industries will be advantageous.
