Our client is a globally recognized financial institution providing world-class investment and financial services. With a strong presence in Asia & MENA, they are now seeking a Head of HR to lead and drive strategic human resources initiatives across these dynamic and diverse regions. The Head of HR (Asia & MENA) will be responsible for developing and executing regional HR strategies that align with the company’s global vision while addressing local market needs. This role requires a seasoned HR leader with deep expertise in talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, regulatory compliance, and cultural transformation in complex, multi-country environments.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with regional business objectives and global HR policies.
  • Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on HR trends, challenges, and opportunities in Asia & MENA.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring a strong, adaptable workforce.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Oversee recruitment strategies to attract top talent across Asia & MENA.
  • Drive succession planning and leadership development programs for key positions.
  • Optimize workforce planning to support business expansion and transformation.
Employee Relations & Compliance
  • Ensure HR policies comply with labor laws and financial regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through effective engagement and retention strategies.
Compensation, Benefits & Performance Management
  • Design competitive compensation and benefits structures tailored to regional markets.
  • Oversee performance management frameworks to drive business results.
  • Implement employee well-being and DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) programs.
HR Operations & Regional Integration
  • Streamline HR processes across multiple countries for operational efficiency.
  • Leverage HR technology, analytics, and automation for data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with HR teams across regions to ensure consistency in policies and practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a regional or international role.
  • Expertise in multi-country HR management across Asia & MENA, including labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Proven track record in HR transformation, talent strategy, and change management.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to partner with senior executives.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cultural adaptability.
  • Experience in the financial services sector is highly preferred.
  • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD, or equivalent) are a plus.
