A leading HR solutions firm in Singapore is seeking a Head of HR to drive HR strategies, enhance operations, and foster a collaborative work environment. The successful candidate will have over 15 years of experience in HR roles with strong leadership capabilities. This role is pivotal in aligning HR with business objectives and implementing effective HR practices.
The Head of HR will play a pivotal role in formulating and executing HR strategies in line with the Firm’s objectives, implementing the best HR practices aligned to the industry and at the same time ensuring seamless operations within the team to enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate should possess sound HR knowledge and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy and Planning
Formulate and execute HR strategies aligned with the Firm’s overall business goals and objectives.
Actively collaborate with the senior management team to create a culture and environment that supports the Firm’s goals.
Provide strong business partnering to the senior management team across all HR functions, especially in areas such as talent acquisition and workforce planning, staff engagement, performance management and talent management.
Leadership
Lead the HR team in fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement
Set clear performance objectives for team members and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure HR team’s development
Promotes a positive and trusting work environment that encourages cohesiveness, knowledge sharing and creativity.
HR Infrastructure and Operations
Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of the Firm’s HR infrastructure, including recommendations made to the Firm’s employee handbook with new policies and procedures, perform compensation analysis to adjust the compensation structure as well as review benefit offerings.
Responsible for managing the entire employee life cycle from recruitment to onboarding, engagement, performance management as well as exit management.
Implement appropriate engagement initiatives firm-wide to drive the desired core values and culture of the Firm.
Stay up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices within the industry to continuously enhance the Firm’s culture posture.
Recommend the appropriate Performance Management process for performance appraisal exercise, including managing and facilitating the moderation sessions to ensure fair calibration of staff’s performance and distribution of rewards payout.
Work closely with member firms within the HLB International network on secondment opportunities, ensuring smooth coordination and execution of these exchange/ learning opportunities.
Spearhead the Firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
Business Partnering
Build rapport and maintain relationships with business partners, not limited to government agencies, Institutes of Higher Learnings to ensure a steady stream of potential students/ new hires for the Firm.
Support the adjustment of the Firm’s manpower numbers by forecasting manpower costs in line with revenue projection.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate HR solutions that are aligned with the Firm’s needs and budget.
HR Governance & Compliance
Stay up to date with the latest government regulations in terms of HR and manpower requirements to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and policies
Develop and maintain HR governance framework and processes
Key Requirements:
Degree from any discipline with 15 years relevant experience in the above-mentioned HR functions with at least 5 years of experience in supervisory or leadership roles.
Formulate and execute HR strategies aligned with the Firm’s overall business goals and objectives.
Proven track record of business partnering abilities to senior management team across all HR functions.
Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to understand and provide solutions to our business units.
Demonstrate high level EQ and sound communication skills to be able to engage and manage all levels of staff.
Strong work ethics, results-oriented, high accuracy and able to maintain high level of confidentiality.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; persuasive and diplomatic during negotiations.
