An established beauty retail company is seeking a skilled HR Manager to oversee HR functions and talent acquisition. The role involves managing recruitment strategies, collaborating with internal hiring managers, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in HR and at least three years of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities:
HR General Management
Oversee all HR functions and responsibilities.
Plan and monitor HR headcount.
Manage compensation and benefits, including benchmarking salary data to ensure competitiveness for current staff and new hires.
Talent Acquisition
Build and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet both immediate and long-term hiring needs.
Establish strong sourcing networks and partnerships through various platforms, including digital and professional channels.
Forecast hiring needs quarterly and annually across departments.
Manage candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System.
Create job descriptions and interview questions tailored to specific roles.
Develop and maintain a database of past applicants and high-potential candidates.
Adapt and oversee selection processes including phone screenings, assessments, and interviews.
Collaborate with external recruitment sources to ensure access to a high-quality talent pool (e.g. agencies, organizations, universities).
Enhance employer branding to attract suitable candidates and establish a compelling image for the organization.
Make salary offers and stay informed on employment laws and practices.
Source talent through online channels and professional networks.
Participate in job fairs and recruitment events.
Implement and refine onboarding processes, including follow-up and improvements.
Collaboration with Internal Hiring Managers
Support hiring managers in identifying qualified and diverse candidates.
Ensure alignment on hiring procedures, expectations, timelines, and role-specific requirements.
Train and support managers in interviewing and screening techniques.
Conduct reference checks and manage the screening of applicants using digital tools.
Other HR Functions
Liaise with authorities for employee passes, registrations, and compliance-related matters.
Conduct employee surveys.
Manage performance appraisal systems, goal setting, and incentive programs.
Oversee learning and development, talent growth, and succession planning.
Organize employee engagement activities, benefits, and welfare programs.
Perform additional tasks as required by the CEO and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
At least 3 years in a similar capacity.
Proven experience working with recruitment agencies.
Proficient in using sourcing platforms (e.g. social media, databases, professional sites).
Hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment using varied techniques and tools.
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.
Solid understanding of talent market trends.
Background in the retail sector is an advantage.
