Job description

By joining our Regional AMEA Finance team:

  • Lead the FP&A function of Danone's AMEA (Asia, Middle East, Africa) Zone out of Singapore, overseeing both P&L and Cash equations.
  • Animate regional business equations by proactively identifying and managing risks & opportunities, guiding Country Business Units (CBUs) to consistently meet or exceed company expectations.
  • Engage CBUs on timely basis to communicate, share best practices, challenge-and-build the financial equation.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with key regional stakeholders, driving alignment and shared responsibilities & objectives across functions.
  • Maintain close interaction with corporate headquarters to drive strategic topics and ensure regional priorities are represented & addressed.
  • Lead CBUs, Regional & Global Tax, Controlling teams through Intercompany recharge process, taking ownership of both statutory and managerial perspectives.
  • Focus on process improvement towards efficient and accurate forecasting.
  • Drive operational excellence in Overheads management, identifying gaps and pursuing opportunities to achieve Overheads targets.
  • Challenge & support CBUs in optimizing Cash, design and execute playbook on forecasting to achieve financial targets with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead CBUs through budget and forecasting processes, including consolidation for AMEA Zone.
  • Drive discussions during monthly Finance-to-Finance calls with CBU Finance heads.
  • Own full P&L of Zone, with focus on improving Overheads ratio and Cash delivery.
  • Provide strategic insights through financial modelling and scenario planning.
  • Monitor financial performance against strategic goals by providing financial forecasts, reviews and analyses.
  • Address forecast deviations and potential financial challenges.
  • Own Zone costs management, ensuring optimal recharge process in full compliance with Tax and Statutory requirements.
  • Serve as board member for local and international entities as required, contributing to governance, compliance, and strategic oversight.

To be successful in this role, you will need…

  • Experienced in presenting & reporting at senior level.
  • Proven track record to drive changes and implement new processes.
  • Experienced working in cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrate ability to work and manage teams remotely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (written & oral) to interact and connect with teams across hierarchies.
