Head of Finance (Manufacturing)

• Adecco is partnering with a Manufacturing Co. We are looking for a finance professional with strong business acumen, financial, and compliance background to join the leadership team.
• As a right-hand person to the CEO, you will lead the existing finance team, oversee end-to-end financial matters, and drive business strategy for the business entity.
• You will be a key finance representative from the company to work closely with the statutory boards and investors on overall financial matters.

Main duties & responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company objectives and growth plans.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support decision-making.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards (IFRS/SFRS).
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to safeguard company assets and optimize performance.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and working capital to support operations and strategic investments.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
• Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, investors, and regulatory authorities.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Support strategic initiatives and business development efforts with financial insights.

The Talent

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; candidates with CPA / CA / ACCA / ICAEW are preferred.
• Proven track record as a head of finance in the manufacturing industry. Exposure to work with statutory boards (e.g. EDB) and investors would be an advantage.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and foster continuous improvement.
• Strong sense of business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills to partner with business stakeholders.
