Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in Financial Institution or Commodity Trading industry.
  • 4 years of audit experience, preferably in a Big4 Audit Firm.
  • Minimum of 4 years managing a team of at least 5 staff.

  • Manage day-to-day finance operations including management and financial reporting.
  • Engage in strategic financial planning such as budgeting and forecasting.

Our client has established its presence in the Commodity Trading industry for 20 years in Singapore, currently located in the heart of the CBD area. They are seeking a Head of Finance to join their expanding team.

Reporting to the Senior Management, the incumbent will manage the finance team in Singapore and China, consisting of up to 20 staff. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day finance operations (management & financial reporting) and engaging in strategic financial planning (budgeting, forecasting, risk management, business partnering, etc.). The role also involves establishing and developing relationships with senior business stakeholders, external partners, and the executive management team.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or ACCA equivalent from a reputable university
  • Postgraduate qualifications such as CA, CPA, and a Master’s degree are advantageous
  • At least 10 years of experience in the Financial Institution or Commodity Trading industry, with 4 years of audit experience, preferably in a Big4 Audit Firm
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience leading or managing a team of at least 5 staff
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required to facilitate communication and collaboration with Chinese counterparts and business partners based in China
