Head of Finance (Based in Batam, Indonesia | Shipyard/Manufacturing)

We are partnering with a well-established industrial group with operations across the region as they are looking for a senior finance leader to head up their finance function in Batam. This role offers the opportunity to oversee end-to-end finance operations for local entities, working closely with the leadership on strategic and operational matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, FP&A, tax compliance, and audit management for the local entity
• Ensure adherence to IFRS standards and internal financial policies
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes and preparation of statutory accounts
• Manage and develop a team of finance professionals; build a strong control environment and streamline processes
• Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to support business decision making

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 15+ years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
• Strong technical background in reporting, tax, and audit, with hands on experience in IFRS
• Industry experience in asset-heavy or project-based environments will be advantageous
• CA/CPA qualification is preferred but not mandatory

Also open to candidates currently based outside Batam and willing to relocate.
