Sree Narayana Mission (Singapore) seeks a Head of Finance to oversee financial management across its businesses, ensuring integrity of accounting, reporting, and regulatory compliance in Singapore. The role drives budgeting, variance analysis and strategic financial planning.

The candidate will lead a finance team, coordinate with Admin Committee, EXCO and Management, and deliver timely insights for decision making while strengthening controls and efficiency across processes.

Formación

• Minimum Degree in Accounting/ACCA
• At least 12 years' experience in consolidation of subsidiaries, audit and accounting
• Hands on experience in a full set of accounts and completed ACRA submissions
• Experienced in AIC systems, Ministry and Statutory Boards grant matters and tax regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and handle high volume of work
• Analytical, diligent, responsible and meticulous
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good team player
• Professional License

Responsabilidades

• Oversee financial management of SNM businesses including oversight, management, audit and compliance of financial processes.
• Provide clear analysis of monthly accounts and variances, prepare P&L, and inform stakeholders.
• Prepare annual budget plan, manage financial operations, provide reporting and analytics to Admin Committee, EXCO and Management.
• Lead the finance team with strong fiscal stewardship and timely financial insights for key business decisions.
• Manage cashflow, treasury and banking matters.
• Hands on in year-end closing, auditors, ACRA reporting and statutory requirements.
• Perform financial modelling for new business opportunities and cost analysis.
• Hands on in system transformation, implementation and delivery of financial IT systems.
• Review internal controls, highlight risks and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Oversee manpower planning, onboarding and training, coach the team as needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance

   As Head, Finance, responsible for the financial management of the businesses within SNM including but not limited to oversight, management, audit, and compliance of financial processes.

   As Lead, Financial Planning & Analysis, provide clear analysis of monthly accounts and variances, prepare the P&L, and inform the respective stakeholders.

   Prepare annual budget plan, manage financial operations, provide reporting and analytics to the Admin Committee, EXCO and Management.

   Lead the finance team with a focus on strong fiscal stewardship of the business and provide timely financial insights to inform key business decisions.

   Manage Cashflow and Treasury and Banking matters.

   Expert in the working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and hands on management of year end closing, auditors, audited financial statements, AGM and ACRA reporting.

   Perform financial modelling for new business opportunities and cost analysis and data analytics .

   Hands on experience in system transformation, implementation and delivery of financial IT systems.

   Review internal control, highlight risks and provide recommendation for process improvement.

2. Human Resource

   Manage manpower planning and hire the right candidate to support the department.

   Oversee team in conducting on-boarding and On-The-Job training for new staff.

   Coach and provide counselling for the team as and when needed.

Job Requirements

1. Education, Training and Experience

   Minimum Degree in Accounting/ACCA

   Possess at least 12 years' experience in consolidation of subsidiaries, audit and accounting

   Hands on experience in a full set of accounts and completed ACRA submissions

   Experienced in AIC systems, Ministry and Statutory Boards grant matters and tax regulations

   Ability to work under pressure and handle high volume of work

   Ability to keep to timelines and work independently

   Analytical, diligent, responsible and meticulous

   Good interpersonal and communication skills

   Good team player

   Professional License
