This is how we aim to prevent, stop, and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

The Opportunity:

Pharma Technical Operations (PT) is involved in producing every Roche medicine – from the development process through clinical trials and continuing to product maturity. Our organization coordinates all aspects of production of Roche medicines in all disease areas and dosage forms. This position will support the PT Operations in Singapore.

We are looking for a Finance Enterprise Partner (Head of Finance) supporting Pharma Technical Operations. Our team plays an integral role in the business, unlocking business value through delivery of high-quality financial insights and providing transparency for decision-making. You will bring strong technical expertise together with the ability to constructively challenge the status quo and work in a self-aligning team with minimal hierarchy. There is also an opportunity to lead or participate in network-wide initiatives as part of a global finance team.

As the Head of Finance, you are responsible for:

  1. Partner closely with leadership by providing financial insights and strategic guidance, building trusted relationships with key business leaders, and catalyzing opportunities across the organization.
  2. Translate business priorities into financial strategies, understanding the unique contribution of Finance to achieve Pharma and PT ambitions.
  3. Manage financials by integrating operational knowledge and financial analysis to identify key drivers and variances, providing actionable insights to enhance performance.
  4. Lead the financial planning process, including annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets, aligning with enterprise goals, and highlighting risks and opportunities.
  5. Review and support business case evaluations for site and network capital projects, considering operational, strategic, and financial implications, and providing financial leadership for multi-site initiatives.
  6. Participate in or lead process improvement squads and support manufacturing network harmonization for consistent financial treatment across sites.
  7. Oversee all financial management aspects of the Singapore Technical Operations manufacturing entity, ensuring accurate financial statements aligned with local and international standards.
  8. Maintain internal controls, manage audit activities, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including tax incentives.
  9. Act as Compliance Officer for RSTO, ensuring adherence to all internal and external policies and regulations.

Who you are:

  1. A strong leader capable of empowering teams and bringing VACC roles to life.
  2. Preferably with manufacturing finance experience.
  3. Possessing a growth and entrepreneurial mindset.
  4. An enabler of transformation with the ability to build connections across the network.
  5. A strong technical and business expert.
  6. Integrity-driven with a compliance mindset and skills to maintain the license to operate.
