Right now, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to lead their financial strategy, reporting, and risk management initiatives. The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, including financial planning & analysis (FP&A), reporting, treasury, and risk management. This role requires deep expertise in financial services, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing financial operations in banking, asset management, or other financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization’s business goals.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and the board.
• Drive long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

• Lead FP&A functions to assess company performance and optimize financial efficiency.
• Conduct in-depth financial modeling and scenario planning to support decision-making.
• Monitor key financial metrics, including profitability, liquidity, and cost control.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, GAAP, and other regulatory standards.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings.
• Work closely with auditors, regulators, and compliance teams to maintain financial integrity.

Treasury & Risk Management:

• Manage capital allocation, liquidity, and investment strategies.
• Implement effective risk management policies, including credit, market, and operational risk oversight.
• Oversee cash flow management, debt financing, and asset-liability management (ALM).

Regulatory & Governance Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and corporate governance standards.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with banking, investment, and tax regulations.
• Stay updated on industry developments, accounting standards, and financial laws.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Develop training programs to enhance financial expertise and leadership capabilities.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to align financial goals with operational strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 12+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of financial services, banking, asset management, or insurance industries.
• Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience in capital management, risk mitigation, and treasury functions.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, Basel III, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• CPA, CFA, ACCA, or other relevant certification is highly preferred.
