Job summary

HTX (Home Team Science & Technology Agency) seeks an experienced engineering leader to drive xCode's in-house development of core software modules for mission critical systems. You will coordinate tech directions, enforce enterprise standards, and guide multiple teams across frontend, backend, data management, QA and testing.

The role emphasizes cloud-based solutions, DevOps practices, and vendor coordination. A two-year contract is stated, with performance-based assessment for potential tenure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10-12 years' software engineering experience with 7+ years in senior technical roles.
• At least 4-5 years' experience in team leadership across multiple disciplines.
• Experience delivering large-scale enterprise projects with in-house software.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across engineering teams and translate strategic tech direction into actionable guidance.
• Ensure adoption of unified technical stacks, languages, libraries, and tools across projects.
• Coordinate with PMG and JV Co partners for aligned delivery.
• Oversee quality governance, security protocols and enterprise standards.
• Manage vendor relationships, joint ventures and external stakeholders.
• Foster knowledge transfer and capability-building across teams.
• Lead delivery across frontend, backend, data management, QA and testing domains.
