Job description

Our client, a highly reputable insurance group with a purpose driven culture and a compelling growth and transformation journey, is looking to appoint a new Head of Employee Relations into the Singapore office.

Operating in a regional ER leadership role, also sitting on the HR Leadership team locally, this individual will operate in a strategic and hands on position, leading the Employee Relations strategy, framework and guidelines, making sure they are consistent across a number of countries.

You will lead all aspects of ER, Policy and high-profile regional ER project related initiatives for the countries you have coverage of (e.g. re-structures, complex large scale regional integration, org transformation, union renewals and negotiations etc), working in close proximity to the Leadership team, in partnership with inhouse legal and external counsel.

You will be an accomplished Head of Employee Relations / Employee Relations Lead (VP/SVP equivalent), ideally already based in Singapore, with strong APAC coverage and insurance/financial services knowledge. Unions experience would also be beneficial. You will be comfortable operating in a fast paced, large global matrix environment as part of a high performing and collaborative, lean and busy team! You will ideally also be comfortable leading a lean geographically dispersed team as an individual contributor – but also willing to manage teams as the scope of the function continues to evolve globally.
