As the Head of Digital Marketing, you will play a key role in driving this growth. This role is about building the digital marketing capability our business and creating a strong brand presence, driving lead generation, and delivering measurable revenue outcomes.

You will have the opportunity to shape the agency’s digital marketing from the ground up, working closely with the leadership team and drawing on the broader expertise of the Elmwood and MSQ network.

To be a fantastic Head of Digital Marketing, you’ll focus on these areas:

1. Build a Digital Strategy That Grows the Business

  • Create and execute an end-to-end digital marketing strategy aligned with the agency’s growth goals.
  • Balance brand-building with demand generation to grow market presence and fill the sales pipeline.
  • Leverage MSQ’s broader digital, data, and technology expertise to accelerate success.

2. Drive Lead Generation and Revenue Pipeline

  • Plan and deliver integrated campaigns across SEO, SEM, paid media, social, and owned channels.
  • Build and optimise the marketing funnel—from brand awareness to lead capture and qualification.
  • Partner with the Business Development team to translate marketing activity into tangible revenue.

3. Lead Content, Social and Campaign Execution

  • Oversee the creation of content that showcases the agency’s work, thinking, and personality.
  • Build a social media presence that reflects who we are and what we stand for.
  • Run paid and organic campaigns that increase engagement and drive qualified traffic.

4. Measure What Matters & Optimise for Results

  • Define and track KPIs including traffic, engagement, leads, and marketing-sourced revenue.
  • Optimise campaign performance, channel mix, and budget allocation for maximum impact.
  • Report regularly to leadership on marketing performance and insights.

5. Manage Teams and Partners

  • Build a lean in-house digital team and manage external agencies or freelancers where needed.
  • Champion collaboration between creative, strategy, and business teams.

  • Deliver the target outlined in marketing-sourced qualified pipeline revenue annually.
  • Build a strong, consistent digital presence that drives brand recognition and engagement.
  • Generate a steady flow of qualified leads aligned with the agency’s target client profile.
  • Optimise digital channels to achieve measurable ROI.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on B2B or creative services.
  • A proven track record in driving lead generation and revenue growth through digital channels.
  • Expertise in SEO/SEM, paid media, CRM, content marketing, and performance analytics.
  • Proficiency in marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, and paid media tools.
  • Strong commercial mindset—able to connect marketing activity to business results.
  • Comfortable in a hands-on leadership role, building and managing a small team and agency partners.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive mindset.
  • A love for creativity, storytelling, and making brands matter.
