Responsibilities

We are seeking a senior design leader to join Atlassian's Enterprise and Monetization (E&M) design leadership team. As the design leader for our E&M initiatives, you will shape the future of Jira Service Management, Atlassian's fastest-growing product. Your role involves leading a design team to enhance existing features and develop new ones, impacting tens of thousands of customers and hundreds of thousands of users.

You should be passionate about developing your team, providing support and mentorship that encourages and energizes them, and elevates their work quality. If you are driven to steer strategic design and grow world-class design at Atlassian in India, this role might be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner strategically with the E&M leadership team, collaborating with Engineering and Product heads to define strategy and roadmap.
• Lead initiatives to drive paid-user growth, simplify admin processes, and develop platform features.
• Manage the E&M design team across India and Australia, working closely with other design leaders.
• Translate product metrics into design goals and lead the overall design vision aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain high standards for design quality and foster innovation within your team.
• Communicate design strategy effectively through storytelling and presentations.
• Build and develop a high-performing, passionate design team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional UX design experience.
• Experience managing large, distributed teams of 20+ designers and managers.
• Proven remote leadership skills and ability to build strong relationships across teams.
• Track record of delivering simple, elegant software solutions.
• Experience leading multiple projects and teams, especially in enterprise-level software.
• Passion for growth and development of team members.
• Ability to articulate a compelling vision to inspire teams and stakeholders.
• Domain expertise in ITSM, E&M, DevOps is a plus.
