A leading transportation network company in Singapore is seeking a Head of Design to define and own design outcomes and product strategy. This role involves mentoring design managers, leading innovative design teams, and collaborating with cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate has over 7 years of experience in user-centered design, exceptional user experience knowledge, and a strong portfolio. The position is onsite at the Singapore office.
You will join the senior leadership team at Grab Design, you will work with veteran design leaders and Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams across all vertical product teams. Our mission is to create world-class, user-centric experiences that connect consumers with entrepreneurs across the region. We are dedicated to understanding our users' needs and designing with purpose, ensuring that every experience, from hailing a ride to ordering a meal, is not just functional but delightful.
As the Head of Design, you will define and own design outcomes, product quality and co-own the product strategy for the team(s) that you are managing. You will partner with Product, Design and Engineering leadership in exploring the needs of our users and the business and driving the delivery of impactful experiences that drive our mission forward. You will shape the design practice by establishing the value of people-centricity, and getting buy-in for new product ideas and initiatives.
