Job description

Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing sector, is on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Operations Leader to take charge of their enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy and execution.

While titled at the Senior Manager level, this role carries CISO-level responsibilities,this is the senior most Cyber role in the organization, making it a unique opportunity for someone ready to lead end-to-end security programs while staying hands-on and operational.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Security Operations, incident response, and crisis management, preferably within industrial, Manufacturing environments, where the stakes are high and operational continuity is critical. You will be at the forefront of shaping the company's cyber posture across IT, OT, data, AI, and IoT, working closely with internal teams, external regulators and senior leadership.

If you enjoy solving complex challenges, thinking creatively under pressure, and thrive in environments that require both strategic oversight and tactical execution this is your next big role.

In this position, you will lead cybersecurity risk assessments, drive policy and framework implementation (NIST, ISO27001, MITRE ATT&CK), and develop detection and response capabilities to safeguard critical systems.

You'll guide teams through cyber threats, build recovery plans, and lead continuous education programs to raise awareness and improve cyber hygiene across the organization.

This role requires someone with at least 15 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, including 10 years of team leadership, as well as strong technical proficiency in tools like SIEM, WAF, PAM, PKI, IDS/IPS, and more.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC will be highly regarded.

Beyond technical skills, we're looking for someone who can confidently communicate with senior stakeholders, adapt quickly in high-pressure scenarios, and lead with a curious, forward-thinking mindset.
