Job Description

We are seeking a transformative and strategic leader to join our APAC Design & Research Team. With over 30 million monthly users, you will have the chance to create a meaningful impact on the experiences of millions of candidates and hirers.

As the Head of Creative & Design System, you'll be at the forefront of defining and implementing our marketplace ambition of a Beautiful, Effortless, Personalised, and Transparent platform. Responsible for providing creative leadership and leading the design and accessibility aspects of our Design System, Braid, you will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to elevate the quality of design craft and encourage a culture of creativity.

What you will achieve:

• Develop a compelling visual narrative of the future state of the SEEK product experience, showcasing our marketplace vision and outstanding SEEK Experience Signature.
• Lead the evolution and adoption of SEEK's Design System, Braid, to enable teams to ship quickly and consistently.
• Translate brand strategy and marketplace ambitions into a visually striking and emotionally engaging connection with our audience.

Responsibilities:

• Champion end-to-end customer experiences and maintain a high bar for quality and consistency.
• Elevate the craft of design and visual storytelling throughout the team's output.
• Drive the adoption of the design system across SEEK products through scalable foundations, documentation, and education.
• Collaborate closely with peers in Design, Operations, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.
• Foster team growth, career trajectories, and effective communication within the APAC team.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in creative agencies or in-house Product Design teams.
• Demonstrated experience in developing design systems at a large scale across multiple products.
• Proficiency in designing across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Desktop, Mobile Web).
• Experience influencing strategic decision making through creative vision and narrative, and a proven ability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent management, mentorship, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong engineering empathy with the ability to work closely with engineers and experience guiding content strategy and delivering polished and on-brand content.
