Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Define a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation and benefits package that fits and is aligned with the company’s strategy and business goals in the region.

  • Manage the development, implementation and administration of compensation and benefits programs for the Asia and China regions following Group policies.

  • Design, develop and drive relevant HR policies, including partnering with Group HR on the improvement of current policies.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation and benefits practices and recommend changes that are cost-effective, consistent with market trends and corporate objectives and compliant with local legislations.

  • Support and coordinate the remuneration processes for the region in collaboration with the HRBPs and related stakeholders.

  • Determine that prevailing pay rates and benefits are competitive to the market.

  • Manage job grading and benchmark processes according to Group guidelines.

  • Drive annual salary budget planning and salary review process ensuring regional alignment and a defensible budget.

  • Lead or participate into HR projects whenever is required. E.g. M&A, carve out, integration, sales force ROI, etc.

  • Represents the Asia and China regions in all matters relating to Compensation and Benefits and acts as the main liaison with the Group and Business Lines.

Ideal Requirements

  • Degree with 8-10 years of professional compensation & benefits experience with both tactical and operational skills. Working experience with Workday will be advantageous.

  • Experience in total rewards management, including compensation, benefits, recognition, and wellness programs.

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful total rewards strategies in a complex organisational environment with multiple business lines.

  • Good understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to compensation and benefits.

  • Analytical and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Good interpersonal skills, able to work as a team and engage key stakeholders.

  • Agility in being both tactical and hands-on operational, and embrace change with a keen eye towards value creation both to the Company and to employees.

  • Project Management experience to lead on changes.
