Seeking a strategic, technically proficient, and people-focused Head of Cloud Infrastructure & Technology to lead the cloud transformation and innovation agenda.

  • This individual will be responsible for the design, delivery, and operation of our cloud infrastructure, supporting business-critical systems across a high-demand, end-user environment.
  • The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in large-scale cloud operations, strong leadership capabilities managing teams of 50+ engineers and architects, and a demonstrated ability to drive innovation and Gen AI use cases in production environments.
  • This role is also positioned as a succession planning opportunity for future leadership of the overall technology organization, offering the successful candidate a clear pathway to take on broader responsibilities across the full tech stack—including application development, enterprise architecture, data platforms, and digital innovation—in the medium term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end strategy, architecture, delivery, and operations of cloud infrastructure across the organization.
  • Manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of 50–60+ professionals, including cloud engineers, DevOps, SRE, platform leads, and architects.
  • Drive cloud transformation initiatives (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), with a focus on scalability, automation, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with product, data, and application teams to design and enable AI/ML and Gen AI solutions on modern cloud platforms.
  • Oversee hybrid/multi-cloud environments, ensuring robust security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Partner with enterprise architects, CISO, and business leaders to align technology strategy with business objectives.
  • Champion the adoption of DevOps/SRE practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code standards.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including Gen AI infrastructure, serverless computing, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and edge computing.
  • Own vendor and budget management for cloud infrastructure services and tools.
  • Monitor service performance, uptime SLAs, and disaster recovery posture across all platforms.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure and cloud leadership roles, with recent focus on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proven success in leading large-scale cloud infrastructure teams (50+), including distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience designing and operating resilient cloud environments with a focus on high availability, security, and automation.
  • Familiarity with Gen AI platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI) and experience supporting real-world use cases.
  • Strong track record in innovation projects, cloud modernization, and tech transformation within an end-user or enterprise setting.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud cost management, FinOps, and infrastructure scaling strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
