This role acts as a dedicated link between Central HUB & Asia for ST Construction projects. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
MAJOR ACTIVITIES:
1. Deployment of EAC and Financial Follow-Up: Responsible for deploying worldwide Estimation At Completion (EAC) and conducting financial follow-ups for construction projects.
EXPECTED END-RESULTS: Ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting, leading to effective budget management and financial accountability.
2. Project Review and Participation in RFQ and Bidding: Review project scopes, participate in Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes, and assist in the bidding and company selection.
EXPECTED END-RESULTS: Ensure the selection of qualified vendors and contractors, contributing to the successful execution of projects.
3. Development of Supplier Base and Characterization of New Technologies: Develop and maintain a robust supplier base in Asia and characterize new technologies under development (e.g., water treatment technologies).
EXPECTED END-RESULTS: Enhance the quality and efficiency of construction projects through the integration of innovative technologies and reliable suppliers.
4. Management of Chongqing Joint Venture: Act as the Construction Manager for the Chongqing Joint Venture, overseeing the work of contractors such as Exyte.
EXPECTED END-RESULTS: Ensure the successful completion of construction projects within the joint venture, meeting all project specifications and timelines.
5. Support to Local Asia Teams: Assist local Asia teams in escalating and resolving issues, providing guidance and support as needed.
EXPECTED END-RESULTS: Facilitate smooth project operations and problem resolution, improving overall project efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Cross-Sharing and Information Gathering with HUB CCFS: Facilitate cross-sharing of information and collaboration with the HUB CCFS (e.g., gathering information for new back-end fabs in Catania from existing fabs like Shenzhen).
EXPECTED END-RESULTS: Ensure effective knowledge transfer and collaboration, leading to informed decision making and project success.
