Job description

Asia Operations provide operational capabilities to Azqore’s client banks, allowing them to focus on executing their strategy, reduce operational costs, and improve operational risk. Commitment to quality and continuous process improvement is at the heart of all Asia Operations activities.

Within Asia Operations, the Cash team is responsible for processing cash remittances, FX/MM, and FX/MM derivatives. Additionally, the team manages FXMM confirmations reconciliation and cash management of secondary nostro accounts.

The incumbent will be part of this exciting function and is responsible for:

  1. Processing and controlling processes within the Cash function;
  2. Ensuring that services delivered to Azqore clients are efficient and productive;
  3. Working closely with colleagues to provide clients with technical expertise and solutions in a timely and accurate manner;
  4. Facilitating business growth through high-quality processing of client banking transactions and risk management;
  5. Managing Asia Cash Operations as part of the Asia Operations management team;
  6. Ensuring operational efficiency, excellence, and low operational risk;
  7. Aligning team members with operational and company goals and vision;
  8. Acting as the point of escalation for Asian clients on all queries, concerns, and issues related to Asia Cash Operations;
  9. Leading Azqore Operations projects and initiatives when necessary;
  10. Driving cross-border collaboration and enhancing communication between Swiss and Singapore teams;
  11. Improving client service standards and client satisfaction;
  12. Proposing and identifying value-added solutions to impact profitability.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Banking/Finance.

Experience: 6-10 years of relevant experience in Cash and FXMM processing, with at least 5 years in people management.

Core Competencies:

  • Knowledge of financial products (Remittances, FX/MM, FX/MM Derivatives such as exotic options, IRS, CCS, OIS, REPO) and related market infrastructure, regulations, and operational risks. Familiar with SWIFT message types.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptable to different hierarchical levels, capable of delivering high-quality service to clients.
  • Proven client and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a change mindset and challenge the status quo.
