Overview

Head of Business Development

Location: Singapore | Working hours: 8.45am to 5.45pm | Working days: 5 Days | Salary: SGD 9,800 – 12,000 per month (Annual Salary Range: SGD 117,600 to 144,000)

Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for identifying, developing and acquiring new clients, and enabling the farming of existing clients in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Devise strategies for driving sales growth and manage the sales pipeline in a CRM tool.
  • Ensure the Asia Pacific region is on track to deliver its sales budget and identify opportunities for underperforming customers.
  • Provide leadership and guidance for the Business Development teams in Asia Pacific.
  • Form internal relationships with local and international colleagues to maximise opportunities across the broader business.
  • Maintain contact with customers to clarify, understand and meet their expectations; balance customer flexibility and innovation with commercial reality.
  • Analyze and formulate countermeasures for the competitive commercial landscape.
  • Work closely with the legal representative to shape and negotiate client contracts.
  • Represent the company in trade events and conferences.
  • Any other duties as assigned by senior management.
Requirements
  • Proven business development, sales or marketing experience in the high-tech or waste management industry (battery, e-waste recycling, etc.).
  • Be prepared to travel within APAC as required.
