Overview

Services sits at the core of Citi’s global network, with an industry footprint spanning 95 countries, including our sub-custody network in 63 of them. We serve approximately 19,000 clients which include large corporations, banks and broker dealers, commercial bank mid-market companies and investment managers.

Services consists of five business lines – Payments, Liquidity Management Services, Trade and Working Capital Solutions, Issuer Services and Investor Services. We operate across seven geographic Clusters – North America, Latin America, U.K., Europe, Middle East & Africa, Asia South and Japan, Asia North & Australia (JANA).

Our Cluster leadership oversees delivery of the breadth of our business and client relationships across the globe. The Asia South Head of Corporate, Commercial and Public Sector Sales (CCPS) is a key leadership position responsible for leading and directing the CCPS Cluster sales team, focusing on driving revenue growth, enhancing client relationships, partnering and driving alignment with Banking and ensuring strategic alignment across all CCPS sales activities in Asia South.

The role directly reports to the Asia South Services Cluster Head and is a member of the Asia South Services Leadership Team. In addition, the role matrixes to the Global Head of CCPS and is a member of its leadership team.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales Leadership. Design and execute sales strategies for TTS Sales Origination and Solutioning across Corporate, Commercial and Public Sector clients. Drive thought leadership to shape client requirements and promote innovative ideas.
  • Client Focus. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders across Asia South. Relay and influence meeting the needs of the Client with global product and sales peers.
  • Product and Solution Focus. Drive initiatives for treasury management, working capital, commercial card and supply chain solutions, collaborating with TTS Solution Sales, Product Sales Specialists and Account Managers.
  • Partnership Focus. Ensure seamless coordination with our coverage partners in the Corporate Bank, GSG and CCB. Also provide seamless communication internally with all TTS global sales partners.
  • Financial Performance. Accountable for driving client revenues, sales origination, wins, cross-sell, revenue realization and retention for Asia South. Lead TTS sales solutioning for profitable, sustainable revenue growth. Manage sales financial metrics and business scorecards.
  • Market and Client Engagement. Serve as the senior conduit for client/industry trends, market challenges and product development needs within the Asia South TTS organization. Drive client satisfaction and loyalty, ensuring coordination with coverage partners (Corporate Bank, GSG, CCB).
  • Marketing and Communication Oversight. Partner with the Services Marketing team to align on all marketing and communication activities for Asia South, including key message development, amplifying global themes, product positioning, sales campaigns and event marketing.
  • Operational Management. Drive continuous process improvement for sales management, presentations and product knowledge training. Ensure adherence to Citi compliance and ethical standards.
  • Innovation. Champion a culture of innovation, driving digitization and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
  • Risk & Control. Manage risk and control standards and foster a culture of compliance across the organization.
  • Talent Development. Lead and manage a diverse multi-country sales team, fostering consistent alignment across Asia South. Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 15 years of direct senior product/sales leadership or relationship management experience, leading multi-country sales/relationship teams.

  • Strong demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, influence and manage in a matrix environment. Experienced strategic sales leader capable of designing innovative sales growth plans and tactical responses.

  • Deep TTS product knowledge; proven TTS leadership.

  • Experience delivering results and exceeding financial objectives.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and client interactions.
