As a Head of APAC Health and Functional Solutions, your key responsibilities will be:

1 - BUILD AND DRIVE THE SALES STRATEGY AND GROWTH PLANS:

  • Build global sales strategy for the profitable growth of the sub-unit in line with the BU strategy.
  • Develop ADPs (Account Development Plans) to drive sales growth and profitability for key accounts with the greatest potential.
  • Develop partnerships with key accounts, including relationships with senior-level management.
  • Deploy push initiatives.

2 - SUCCESSFUL EXECUTION:

  • Commercialize the BU catalogue established with the Global Portfolio, Technical, Regulatory, and Marketing team.
  • Accountable for global Demand Planning coordination, price negotiations, and other sales activities within his area of responsibility.
  • Initiate, manage, and monitor must-win projects with Technical, Marketing, and Portfolio Management.

3 - TEAM, CROSS-FUNCTIONAL, AND TRANSVERSAL LEADERSHIP

  • Manage Sales Team with full account and business management responsibility to protect and grow assets for designated account(s) within his area of responsibility.
  • Work across global functions in the Ingredients BU and the T&W sales organization.
  • Be an active member of the leadership team.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration.
  • Deep understanding of relevant business, market dynamics, and products.
  • Successfully managed sales areas and teams internationally.
  • Strategic thinking and change management skills.
  • Effective people management skills, team player, providing focus and direction, with the ability to resolve conflicts constructively.
  • Works effectively in a multicultural matrix environment and builds networks across functions and geographies.
  • Knowledge of key account/segment/region/country/category, including market, general business climate, competitive landscape, financial potential, etc.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships with decision makers and influencers; effectively enlists participation of senior managers to influence decision makers.
  • Ability to engage Account Management teams in periodic reviews of ADPs and action plans.
  • Extensive knowledge of pricing guidelines within the country.
