Job summary

Aon Global Operations SE Singapore Branch seeks a senior analytics leader to accelerate Risk Analytics and embed data-driven decision making across the investment lifecycle. You will shape data strategy, lead global data initiatives, and manage a team of M&A data analysts to deliver measurable client insights.

The role emphasizes innovation in BI tools, governance, and stakeholder collaboration across a large financial services ecosystem in Singapore and beyond.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a leadership role within BI, analytics, and/or data analytics.
• Experience in financial services or insurance is preferred.
• Background in data analysis, visualization, data quality, data warehousing, data engineering, and financial reporting.
• Strong affinity with AI & Data trends, including data governance and quality.
• Expertise with relational databases, warehousing, and lake-house technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Blob Storage, AWS S3).
• Experience in logical and physical data model design and broader data architecture design.
• Development experience in SQL, Python for data processing, and PowerBI.
• Exceptional communication skills to simplify complex information.
• Experience in large, complex environments with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to influence colleagues toward best practices and technology adoption.
• Passion for automation and digitalization in data processes.
• Adept at creating documentation and data dictionaries for internal and external users.

Responsibilities:

• Leveraging analytics and operational experience working with Aon's Mergers and Acquisitions and Transaction Solutions business to accelerate Aon's Risk Analytics agenda.
• Further embed analytics into Aon's value proposition and client delivery model, strengthening our ability to help clients make more informed, data-driven decisions.
• Embed analytics capabilities across the full investment lifecycle - from pre-acquisition diligence through portfolio management and exit - to consistently deliver differentiated insight and measurable outcomes for clients.
• Lead Innovation and Tool Improvements across Aon's M&A practice in EMEA/UK and expand existing capabilities globally. Further develop strategy to improve the data landscape, and identify, analyse, and support and lead improvements on high priority data systems.
• This includes being the global lead on key internal data initiatives driving the implementation of new compliance and project management tools with enhanced user experience and greater BI/MI insight for all stakeholders
• In addition, being innovative in delivering greater value for clients and insurers through enhanced reporting experiences and creating more consistent data structures to support this.
• Support key business development by enabling data driven decisions
• Being the business lead for a team of M&A dedicated data analysts

Requirements:

• At least 10 years in a leadership role within BI, analytics, and/or data analytics.
• Proven experience working within financial services or insurance is preferred.
• Background in data-related fields such as data analysis and visualization, data quality, data warehousing, data engineering, and financial reporting.
