This leader will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of AI products and services tailored to the insurance industry, including underwriting, claims, customer engagement, fraud detection, and risk modeling.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AI Solutions Leader with strong Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability and deep insurance domain knowledge to drive the strategy, development, and commercialization of AI-powered solutions. This leader will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of AI products and services tailored to the insurance industry, including underwriting, claims, customer engagement, fraud detection, and risk modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Define and execute the vision and roadmap for AI-based solutions in the insurance vertical.

• Own and manage the P&L for the AI insurance portfolio, ensuring revenue growth and profitability targets.

• Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to guide solution development.

Product & Solution Development:

• Lead cross-functional teams (data science, engineering, actuarial, product, and design) to develop scalable AI solutions.

• Collaborate with clients, partners, and stakeholders to design innovative offerings across the insurance value chain.

• Ensure solutions meet regulatory, ethical, and compliance standards specific to the insurance sector.

Go-to-Market & Commercialization:

• Drive go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales enablement initiatives.

• Build and manage key relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, reinsurers, and regulatory bodies.

• Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and client meetings.

Operational & Financial Oversight:

• Monitor and optimize operational efficiency, team performance, and solution delivery timelines.

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the AI insurance portfolio.

• Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and client impact assessments.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

• 10+ years of experience in the insurance industry (e.g., underwriting, claims, actuarial, product).

• 5+ years of experience leading AI, analytics, or technology-enabled transformation initiatives.

• Proven track record of P&L ownership and achieving financial targets.

• Deep understanding of insurance regulatory requirements, data structures, and industry workflows.

• Strong grasp of AI/ML technologies, including predictive modeling, NLP, computer vision, and automation.

• Experience in commercializing AI/analytics solutions and working with enterprise clients.

Preferred:

• Prior leadership experience at an insurance company, consulting firm, or AI/tech provider serving insurers.

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Data Science, MBA, etc.).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern AI/ML tech stack.
