Job summary

SYMATICS TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior leader to drive system-level engineering for MPU-based platforms and to build out the IT/infrastructure supporting AI workloads.

You will steer platform bring-up, validate reference boards and servers, and support OEM/ODM designs from early design-in to mass production. You will also define and run AI POCs, set up cross-functional engineering processes, and turn customer requirements into product feedback while leading a regional travel-ready

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 10 years in the semiconductor, PC or computing hardware industry, including at least 8 years managing people.
• Strong knowledge of PC or server system architecture, platform bring-up and hardware/software enablement.
• Experience supporting OEM/ODM or add-in-board (AIB) customer designs through NPI.
• Hands-on experience delivering AI POCs, from model deployment and optimisation to validation and customer demonstration.
• Experience managing engineering lab, compute or IT infrastructure.
• Familiar with Linux and Windows environments and with hardware design tools such as OrCAD and Allegro.
• Strong communication skills, including presenting to customers and executives.
• Able to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level engineering for MPU-based platforms, including reference boards and servers, platform bring-up and system validation.
• Support OEM/ODM customer designs from early design-in through new product introduction (NPI) and mass production.
• Define and run customer and partner POCs, including AI workload deployment, optimisation, validation and demonstration.
• Set up engineering support processes (RFQ support, issue tracking, quality and design-readiness reviews) across internal teams and external partners.
• Turn customer requirements into feedback for the product and engineering teams.
• Plan, build and run the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, end-user systems, cloud and on-premise resources, and access management.
• Build and manage compute infrastructure for engineering and AI workloads, such as GPU/AI servers, lab environments and EDA/simulation resources.
• Own information security, data protection and IT policies, in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Manage IT and infrastructure vendors, budgets and capacity planning.
• Build and lead the system engineering and infrastructure team.
• Report to senior management and work with product, GTM and operations teams.
