Our client, a premier insurer with a strong presence in the market, is seeking to appoint a highly skilled Head of Actuarial Audit in Singapore.


Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Chief Internal Auditor and leading a team. You will oversee and deliver a broad portfolio of audit assignments within your designated areas of expertise, specifically focusing on Actuarial, Investment, Operations, Finance etc. ensuring alignment with the approved audit plan. You will design audit framework, standards and policies for the group as well as providing an independent assessment of the activities and their conformity of operations control, compliance and corporate procedures. You will prepare and review audit reports, liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities, and communicate audit issues to the senior management and Audit Committee.

Requirements

A qualified actuary or holder of a recognised actuarial qualification is essential, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in actuarial practice, second-line functions, or internal audit. Strong leadership and staff management experience are highly desirable. You possess a deep understanding of financial services risks and the regulatory environment. With exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership abilities, you are credible, mature, driven, and skilled at building strong relationships.
