Job description

What the role is:

The jobholder is responsible for leading intelligence-related development using various resources, with the aim of delivering effective, secure, and business-aligned solutions within constraints. They will support the Intel PMC Directorate and relevant stakeholders in developing and executing work plans to fulfill the multi-year masterplan program.

What you will be working on:

  1. Develop Intel software development work plans: Design work plans and roadmaps outlining objectives, goals, timelines, milestones, resources, and scopes. Develop and implement technical strategies and solutions within these plans. Seek concurrence and establish clear understanding with stakeholders. Understand operational requirements and environments of intel users to clarify needs and agree on outcomes.
  2. Execute tasks listed in the Intel development work plan: Define solution scope, risks, goals, and milestones. Monitor and track resources, manpower, hardware, software, budgets, and work assignments. Oversee project progress, ensuring solutions align with strategic plans. Define and implement software development processes and methodologies. Oversee design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications. Collaborate with users from different intelligence units to harmonize requirements and recommend solutions. Engage regularly with key stakeholders from other HTX units to support program development.
  3. Manage and oversee development of Intel Development staff: Provide technical and administrative guidance. Identify and address staff development needs, especially in areas like InfraSecOps and DevSecOps. Mentor and coach staff to improve performance.
  4. Maintain oversight of software development engagements: Keep track of progress within Intel PMC. Provide technical advice to program teams and recommend appropriate approaches and platform designs.
  5. Stay updated on new technologies and best practices: Evaluate the use of AI tools in development. Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Perform other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Engineering, Computer Studies, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience, with additional experience in technical solutioning and consultancy advantageous.
  • 5-8 years of software development experience, with leadership experience in managing teams of engineers and QA personnel preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity and security risk assessment (advantageous).
  • Solid technical background and industry knowledge, understanding operational needs.
  • Flexible and creative in solutioning, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent facilitation, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.

Additional notes:
