Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head, Human Resources to support our client in leading the evolution of their human resources function. This role is critical in modernizing HR strategies, optimizing HR operations, and fostering a high-performance workplace culture. The ideal candidate will spearhead HR digitalization, talent development, and organizational change initiatives to support business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive HR transformation roadmap aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
- Spearhead organizational change initiatives to modernize HR practices and enhance employee engagement.
- Act as a key agent of change to guide smooth workforce transitions during organizational development.
- Lead change management and leadership coaching programs to support business growth and transformation.
- Introduce and optimize digital HR solutions (e.g., HRIS, payroll, performance management systems) to enhance automation and the employee experience.
- Streamline HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and HR reporting, to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Drive data-driven decision-making by integrating HR analytics into workforce planning and performance tracking.
- Oversee workforce planning strategies that align with operational and future expansion requirements.
- Redefine and strengthen talent acquisition and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent in the oil & gas industry.
- Develop structured career development and succession planning frameworks to build leadership pipelines and ensure business continuity.
- Create competency models and training programs tailored to operational, technical, and leadership roles.
- Promote continuous learning, upskilling, and capability building to meet evolving industry needs.
- Review and enhance HR policies, procedures, and processes for operational efficiency and legal compliance.
- Ensure full compliance with Singapore labor laws, MOM regulations, and industry-specific employment standards.
- Lead compliance training initiatives to align with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture through employee engagement programs, leadership development, and recognition initiatives.
- Establish feedback mechanisms such as pulse surveys and focus groups to capture employee sentiment and drive improvements.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to foster an inclusive and progressive work environment.
- Conduct compensation and benefits benchmarking to ensure competitiveness in the market.
- Collaborate with Finance to manage HR budgeting and optimize cost efficiency across functions.
- Develop HR frameworks that anticipate future workforce trends and support sustainability objectives within the oil & gas sector.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resource/Business Management or any related discipline.
- Strong HR practitioner with strong foundation and well-verse in local HR Employment Acts, Industrial Relations Acts and updated with prevailing statutory requirements and compliance.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in HR leadership and business partnership in a large organization with experience in a matrix reporting organization.
- Only candidates with strong involvement in Business Transformation from the HR perspective will be considered for this position.
- Recent hands-on experience is valued, together with leadership skills to manage a small team.
