At GXS, we are a digital bank on a mission to make banking better for Singapore’s everyday consumers and small businesses.

As the Head of Data Solutions & AI, you will play a crucial role in sharing GXS’s data driven strategy.

Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, you will lead a team oftalented and high performing Data Scientists, Analysts, AI, andMLOps professionals, to drive actionable insights, enhance decision making and power innovative digital banking solutions.

This role requires a data leader with deep experience in the financial services or banking industry, who understands the complexities of banking data, risk, compliance and customer analytics. Beyond technical expertise, you must be a business centric leader, someone who can translate data into strategic business opportunities, drive commercial impact, and work closely with business leaders to enhance decision making.

You will be to balance data-driven innovation with regulatory compliance, ensuring advanced analytics, AI and machine learning solutions contribute to business growth while maintaining a high standard of governance and security.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the AI and data science roadmap and strategy aligned with the bank's overall vision and business goals, while articulating the bank-wide value proposition of AI

  • Define and execute the bank’s data analytics strategy to drive business growth and customer experience

  • Lead experiment with alternative data sources to improve credit scoring and financial inclusions.

  • Develop predictive models and AI driven insights to enhance customer engagement, risk management, and revenue optimization

  • Partner with business leaders across banking, risk, product and operations to translate data into commercial impact

  • Stay ahead of industry trends in open banking, embedded finance and fintech innovation

  • Lead the design and implementation of dashboards and reports to provide real time, actionable insights

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data analytics, data science or business intelligence, with at least 8 years in leadership roles

  • Excellence in managing senior stakeholders and has ability to communicate complex data insights to non technical audiences

  • Strong leadership in building and scaling cross-functional data teams.

  • Ability to align data strategies with business goals and risk/ regulatory compliance

  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, big data technologies, and AI/ML frameworks.

  • Deep understanding of customer segmentation, risk modelling, fraud analytics

  • Experience with real time data processing, APIs, and automation

  • Track record in building capabilities in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Real Time Analytics to personalize banking solutions
