Job description

Job Scope & Responsibilities:

Program Involvement:

  • Coach cross multiple STA programs including but not limited to the Ladies Tennis Program, and adult initiatives such as Cardio Tennis, NTS, Advanced Plus, SPEX, etc.
  • Adapt coaching methods based on the specific program and participant skill levels.

Coaching Delivery:

  • Provide 30 hours of on-court coaching per week, ensuring a high-quality training experience.
  • Develop and execute session plans focusing on technical skills, tactical strategies, physical conditioning, and mental preparedness.
  • Offer personalized feedback and performance analysis to help players reach their potential.

Professionalism & Conduct:

  • Arrive on time for all lessons and adhere strictly to the scheduled sessions.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and maintain a courteous and respectful attitude toward colleagues, players, and all STA stakeholders.
  • Uphold STA’s code of conduct in every aspect of coaching and communication.

Administrative & Collaborative Duties:

  • Assist with scheduling, record-keeping, and session planning in coordination with STA management and fellow coaches.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training programs through regular feedback and collaboration.
  • Participate in internal meetings and professional development workshops as required.

Flexibility & Additional Responsibilities:

  • Embrace additional duties as assigned by the General Manager to support the overall objectives of STA.
  • Be open to adapting coaching techniques and participating in new program initiatives as the association evolves.
