Job Description
Administration
  • Ensure culinary activities align with Corporate Strategy and that Hotel Actions are implemented appropriately.
  • Conduct regular communication meetings and ensure departmental briefings are effective.
Guest Service
  • Ensure all guest-contact culinary employees deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional service.
  • Observe employee-guest and employee-internal customer interactions, coaching employees as needed.
  • Handle guest and internal customer complaints courteously and efficiently, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
  • Maintain positive interactions with guests and colleagues.
Financial
  • Maximize employee productivity through multi-skilling, multi-tasking, and flexible scheduling to meet financial and guest expectations.
  • Work with the Director of Guest Services to ensure profit centers operate profitably while delivering the brand promise.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Food and Beverage to keep cost centers efficient and aligned with brand standards.
  • Assist in preparing the Annual Business Plan and analyze business performance for accurate forecasting.
  • Manage costs proactively based on KPIs, adhering to financial policies and regulations.
  • Support inventory management and maintenance of hotel assets.
Marketing
  • Assist in developing and updating the Annual Marketing Plan.
  • Identify marketing and PR opportunities to increase awareness and business.
Operational
  • Ensure compliance with all brand standards and monitor operations, especially during peak periods.
  • Encourage creativity and innovation among Heartists, recognizing their contributions.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • BHM graduate or equivalent qualification.
  • Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
