Duties and Responsibilities for Assistant Cook:
- Must have knowledge of Bangladeshi food preparation and food menus
- Must be familiar with Bangladeshi language to interact with customers.
- Responsible to handle entire kitchen operations.
- Must be Flexible with work timing and schedule and should not have any concern with working overtime.
- Must be able to work on fast hands for the preparation of multiples food packets for catering purpose in shorter tie period.
- Responsible to set the weekly menu for the restaurant
- Responsible to keep track of the available inventory and order in time beforehand
- Responsible to handle below staff and enhance their skills.
- Responsible for proper hygiene in and around the kitchen area
- Responsible to handle the entire cooking operations and take care of order delivery time and quick & accurate response to the orders
Requirements:
- Having Knowledge minimum 7-8 years in Bangladeshi restaurant.
- Must be able to work on shift basis. (9:30am to 1:30pm and 8:00pm to 12:00pm)
- Ready for work Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holiday (Alternatively off another day).
- Prefer having knowledge for cooking KACCHI BIRYANI, KICHURI, SHUTKI BORTA and other familier food for Bangladeshi customers.
